Q) I want to make a complaint/ compliment how do i do this?

A) Please Direct all concerns/ compliments to the Childcare Manager, 64 Whitehall Lane, grays, essex, RM176SH OR alternatively email : ginnie@ttigers.co.uk - please remember to leave your contact details so we can get back to you at the earliest possible convenience.

Q) My child wants to go to his/her friends house, do I still have to pay?

A) Yes, you are still liable for your space unless we close the business.

Q) My child is 2 years old, can he/she get government funding?

A) Unfortunately not at present, the 15 hours government funding is in place for 3-4 year olds, however if you get in contact with Thurrock council they will be able to advise you further on this issue.

Q) Child has sickness or diarrhoea, how long does he/she need to stay off nursery?

A) We follow the Guidance on the infection control poster for nurseries and schools, Your child will not be allowed back into nursery until 48hours after the sickness/ diarrohea stops, cut out all dairy products, and ensure fruit and veg are thoroughly washed prior to eating, this will contribute to stopping the diarrohea/ sickness.

Q) My child has got chicken pox, when will they be allowed back to nursery?

A) when all of the lesions (spots) have crusted, calamine lotion will soothe the itching!

Q) My child has had a ring of raised spots appear, do you have any idea what it could be?

A) We're not medical professionals your GP/ Pharmacist should be able to help give you a diagnosis, however if i was to hazard a guess.... it does sound like ring worm, with cream your child will not be excluded from nursery, its simply a skin infection.

Q) My child wants to attend an after-school activity, would you collect them after it finishes?

A) Yes providing staff are not sick and ratios are maintained we can, however there is a £4.50 escort charge, however if multiple children are attending the same after-school activity the cost can be shared between parents.
